Making a replacement valve for a two speed gear motor | Parker PGM
The customer couldn't get this product from Parker, as Parker was unable to supply. They had a third party supplier, and it was discontinued. Lifco made the part that was discontinued by taking pieces from other motors we had here in stock. Because this two speed gear motor was definitely unique, Russel our mechanic, who had never built one of these motors before, took the challenge. A Lifco engineer, John, was able to create drawing and reproduce the two speed motor from other units we had in stock.
Cylinder Repair | Will it work? Lots of damage on this one.
Upon inspection the gland is pitted and won't clean up within tolerance. The bronze bushing is undersized, but the chrome rod is in good condition. The next steps will be to manufacture new gland, replace the bronze rod bushing from stock, and replace all seals. Then we will put it back together and test. Watch till the end to see if we can repair this pump! Upon inspection of this PAVC65 pump, it was labeled 'Blown up' and needs to be replaced. Luckily for our customer, we were able to quickly quote them a brand new one off of our shelf. They agreed and had their new pump sooner then it would have taken us to replace the list of parts below.

Trent receives the new parts that our customer approved, assembles the pump back together and tests the pump on our test bench.
